Our service can include a medical escort on a commercial airline, airport assistance, ground ambulance transport and coordination with the treating and receiving medical teams. If the patient cannot remain seated for the flight, a commercial aircraft stretcher assessment may be requested from the airline.
Medical information must be reviewed carefully for long-haul journeys. The airline may request a current medical report, treatment summary, medication list, oxygen requirements, mobility information and a completed medical clearance form before approving travel.
